About
Emily Wood joined The Family Law Practice in 2025, following a broad and diverse career where she held roles in operations, people management, finance and business development. She is central to the firm’s smooth running and to helping the Directors achieve their future growth plans.
After studying French and Spanish Translation at the University of Birmingham, Emily completed her legal studies at the University of Law. She then handled translation roles for a number of international organisations, founded and ran a virtual assistant business, and then moved into operational and project management roles in the education and legal sectors.
Emily is a highly organised, proactive member of the team bringing a range of skills to our business. She is also a member of The Institute of Legal Finance and Management.
